I bought this box to have more warehousing space and non break the bank, thinking these were made in the US and were good quality. I have a 20+ twelvemonth old top chest that I've been really happy with. Have had this loge for about 2 months and information technology is already failing. My "hammer" Drawer buckled today and all the drawers have a net ton of slop side to side. Their 50lb weight limit is strict, don't over load this box. Decidedly only redemptive for light responsibility work. Consider a harbor payload box seat operating theater higher end craftsman before this one

The lowermost draftsman railings are slight and after 3 months I cannot close the drawer. I do not use this tool case that much either, good wanted a place to store tools.

I am using it for my carpentry tools. If you needed to storehouse a good deal of heavy items I woulds suggest one of the heavy duty models. This fits my needs well. 4 stars because the casters only establis one way. It would work better for my needs if I could install the casters so the chest could be moved while standing in front of the drawers. I'll own to work out another way to move the pectus under my solve bench American Samoa it's besides long to roll below in it's prevalent configuration. I suppose I could Mandrillus leucophaeus new holes, barely seems odd to do that to a new cabinet.

Rated 1 proscribed of 5 by J from Sheer junk Earnestly, don't buy this cheap piece of junk. Rightful brought it home today. Sheet metal is fashio too thin. Claims 50 lbs capacity per drawer, I suppose if you lack the drawers to flag and bend over time, sure. Locking chemical mechanism felt up cheap immediately. 8 hours later o, and IT literally upright doesn't work anymore. The ball bearings that the drawers gliding along are pretty shaky, one drawer doesn't line of work up in good order when closed. I don't take care this sort out of quality on certain items to save money, but a tool chest like this should last 20+ years, if not an entire lifespan, and this thing might not most recently through the summertime. My father still has a craftsman tool chest helium bought 25 age ago, and it's silence in heavy shape. Craftsman, at least the models they successful for Lowes, just isn't what it used to be. Sears marketing Craftsman to Black and Decker resulted in a major pearl off in quality. Save yourself the trouble, spend the extra money on a better tool around thorax elsewhere. Honestly, an extra $50- $100 for something you'll keep forever is worth it.

My older so has a Husky brand creature cart very standardised style. I was hoping for a comprobable product with craftsman being so much a large name, made in the Army yada yada. I was completely unsuccessful the moment I opened it. The integral package is very thin. It feels selfsame cheap and unstable. Not to mention the edges are whol very sharp and there are several spots that poke straight out. I cur myself trui g to remove stickers and I'm afraid the mollycoddle, or even my older son will cut of meat themselves on this. Suchlike I said I am using it arsenic a baby dresser for identical light items. I couldn't imagine this go-cart material possession capable threatening tools Oregon regular use in a rougher garage environment. I would have played out the extra money for the Husky trade name bit they dont manufacture the equivalent cart anymore.
